yeah 100% lol. Yes the sprites belong to ponytown but the OC design belongs to whoever makes it. It’s the same way people who use F2U bases can still have their OC copied/stolen. Making a skin is the same thing. Just because it’s a colored base doesn’t mean it can’t be copied. The only exception is if that persons skin is really basic and multiple other people have similarly designed characters.

Here's my take : People stealing skins are wrong , yes , I agree on that . I do also understand that it's just game assets recoloured to your liking , but doxxing , threatening and actually telling them to off themselves is also wrong . It's horrible . Both sides don't really get anywhere and this is where I say just leave them be . You don't need to give them attention . What you can do is when you see someone with your skin or uniform and they genuinely did not know GENTLY explain it to them . When people made announcements and said don't dox them I knew , actually , they were going to get doxxed because some people don't think twice about how they're affecting eachother . So let's be respectful over eachother and don't tell eachother to do these things because it's foul

People steal skins always for their own amusement, or in some cases, they're just actual idiots who don't know jackshit on what they're doing . Most of the time though, its for their own amusements . I mean sure, its wrong, theres no arguing that . Thats like stealing someone's artwork—just in a pixel game . Stupid, right ? However, heres more to what I can say, people who will be all fussy about their skins being stolen, going outrage and everything—they're just as stupid as those who do steal . Sure, I can't lie when I say I've gotten upset on this before, countless of times, but if you're someone like me who has witnessed their skins / unis being stolen a bunch of times now, skin stealing isn't a new news to you eventually . It'll hit on you like another tuesday—basically going numb . Because, reality check here, ITS ALL . A . PIXEL . PONY . GAME . Theres no point in going ballistic over it, geez, you got robbed or something ? i feel like giving attention those who steal skins is literally just encouraging them to do it more. they don't do it for the "skins" they do it to provoke reactions out of it. honestly the less people freak out over it the more likely they'll stop. ive seen so many regis ping @everyone like Daily just to bring attention to this skin stealers and its stupid. at the end of the day, its just pixels, you shouldn't stress so much over it. if you see it on pinterest, just politely say "this is from ____" block + report. don't make it such a big deal cuz thats exactly what they want. both sides is immature imo
